I am an Outsider painter based in the north of England who is self-taught with a deeply informed connection with the outdoors, folk art, textiles and depth. My artistic medium is layered house paints and expired fabrics to create a base to work on, then finished off with thin oil paints, allowing the layered fabrics to be visible in textures, often painting naive depictions of wildlife and nature.

The fabrics I use are primarily tablecloths, napkins, curtain samples, and vintage furniture fabrics that have been either gifted or purchased second-hand.

I have exhibited my work nationally and internationally. My most honourable exhibition was the Venice Biennale 2024, where I showcased my work for six months.

Alongside painting, I am also studying Furniture design at Northumbria.
